A love story. A spiritual journey. The pilgrimage of a remarkable woman’s irrepressible love of life and a man and woman’s enduring love for each other.

Dianna, in her late 20’s, marries John, a man in his late 40’s. Discovering she has an aggressive breast cancer, they embark on 17 year odyssey into the nature of love and healing. While fulfilling her life purpose she helps John fulfill his own.

Modeling a way of living beyond the usual drama manufactured by shame, guilt, regret and fear of survival, they explore what daily practices create a life that works and fulfills our most important relationships while meeting life’s challenges and rising to our own highest potential.

Sprinkled with laughter and marinated in Dianna’s gentleness of spirit, she shows us how an ordinary human being can choose to live an extraordinary life.

Born of Italian immigrants, at age 13, John began his work life in cement construction under his father's watchful eye while being tossed into a bundle of Italian immigrants and black laborers who shared their way of living and simple wisdoms that were to shape his life.

A high school chemistry class drew him into a successful twenty-five career in chemical engineering where he experienced the unique comardarie only engineers can fully understand. Gradually, he began noticing the white/blue collar divide that prevailed in the work place, stimulating a curiosity about group dynamics and leading to another twenty year team-building career that took him across the US, Canada, Europe, and Saudi Arabia.

Though John has written articles and short stories published in various small magazines and newspapers throughout his life, this is his first book.
