Uncovered in 2013, a 1928 event had disappeared into the anthracite coal dust of Lansford, PA. Until 2016, incredulous situations revealed facts for this non-fiction and a combination of research and personal eye witness interviews retells the story.

Parish son, Michael Kusko, broke his back working at the local coal mine. After 5 years of devout prayer, suffering and disability, he entered eternal life. At his wake, the rosary placed into his hands grew flowers.

Our Church & the Rosary Society of St. John the Baptist, is where Michael and his family worshipped and prayed with members of our present families. Now, "The Rosary That Grew Flowers” is published in conjunction with the parish’s 125th Anniversary and Fatima’s 100th Anniversary of the Apparitions and Miracle.

Aunt Mary, your testimony at 95 years old launched and propelled this work. You often wondered why you lived so long, now the book is complete; so too, is your work among us. Thank you. Vichnaja Pamjat’ Eternal Memory!
