My name is Leonard J Eisenberg in 1968 and 1969, I was lucky enough to see and photograph Jimi Hendrix.

When Jimi Died September 18th 1970, I was bummed and kept the photographs hidden for 25 years-First publishing was for the 25th anniversary of the Woodstock Art Festival.

Finally after 47 years I am ready to share with you those moments in time spent in the same room with Jimi.

Leonard, a photographer for over 4 decades, is a multimedia artist. He is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art,and attended the Boston Museum of Fine Arts Schoolto further his studies in digital imaging and fine art painting.  Leonard produced, filmed and edited “The Ultimate Guitar Tech”a 16mm instructional film featuring Cesar Diaz,Bob Dylan’s guitar tech.
